(Al-Maeda) 5 : 6

Oh those who believed! Whenever you stand up for prayer, you wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, then you wipe your heads and your feet up to the ankles, and if you are in a state of ceremonial impurity, then you purify taking bath, and if you are ill or upon a journey or anyone of you has defecation or urination or you have intercourse with the woman and you don’t find water, then you resort to pure soil and wipe your faces and hands with it; Lord Allah doesn’t want to make any difficulty upon you, but He intends you to be purified and to complete His Favors upon you so that you may become grateful.

This verse explains the method of ablution. In case, if the water is not available after defecation or urination, then tissue papers are more suitable for cleaning than using soil and sand. In case of ejaculation of semen or intercourse happened and if water is not available, or if one is on a journey or ill, then also cleaning with tissue paper is enough. The believer is conscious that the Three-Time-Knower Lord knows the status of His servants’ chests wherever he is as explained in verse 2: 177. The believer who is serving Allah gives preference for the soul and Hereafter, whereas the Fujjar who are serving Satan gives preference for the bodily and the worldly life. Fujjar are cleaning only their body without purifying their soul with Adhikr which is the Food, Cloth, and Sight of the human soul. As there is no group of believers anywhere in the world, there is no congressional prayer. The odd believer follows the prayer and lifestyle explained in verses 7: 205-206. See explanation 2: 14, 152, 222, and 4: 43.
